Day Three of The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise 2025 delivered exhilarating racing conditions, with a strong northerly breeze propelling the fleet down the stunning Gold Coast coastline from Southport to Burleigh Heads for the final showdown of the regatta.
After a weekend of shifting weather patterns, today’s breeze brought ideal conditions for high-speed racing and dramatic downwind runs- delivering a fitting finale to what has been one of the most competitive Sail Paradise events in recent years.
Spectators lined the coast as crews pushed hard to secure their final positions ahead of this evening’s official presentation of the Australian Sailing Queensland Yachting Championships and The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise 2025 at Southport Yacht Club’s Main Beach clubhouse.
Southport Yacht Club Commodore Glenn Burrell, skipper of Black Diamond, said the final day’s racing showcased the very best of offshore sailing on the Gold Coast. “It’s been an incredible few days—great competition, strong camaraderie, and world-class conditions to close it out,” Burrell said. “We’re looking forward to celebrating the champions of both the regatta and the Queensland Yachting Championships tonight.”
The presentation evening will recognise winners across all divisions and crown the overall 2025 champions, with media warmly invited to attend and capture the celebrations.
