Get ready for an adrenaline-packed spectacle as Southport Yacht Club presents the highly-anticipated Bartercard Sail Paradise Regatta from Saturday, September 30th, 2023, to Monday, October 2nd, 2023, delivering an unforgettable experience with offshore sailing at its finest.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Gold Coast’s golden beaches, Bartercard Sail Paradise will see more than 50 yachts compete in this multi-day regatta that will bring together sailing enthusiasts, competitors, and spectators for an action-packed celebration of the sport.
The regatta’s courses are strategically laid out between Main Beach and the Queensland/NSW border, providing participants with challenging conditions and opportunities to showcase their sailing prowess and spectators will be captivated by the thrilling closeness of the races.
The 14th Bartercard Sail Paradise also offers a rich program of onshore festivities and Southport Yacht Club extends a warm invitation to Gold Coast residents and visitors alike to join in the pre and post-race fun during the regatta. Experience the excitement up close and personal, and get the chance to view the race yachts as they gracefully return to the marina each evening at the Club’s state-of-the-art $9 million Super Yacht Berth.
Spectators are invited down to watch the brand-new Parade in Paradise at 9:00am Saturday where all of the fleet will be dressed up and ‘parade’ their vessels past SYC Waterfront Restaurant’s main deck before commencing racing.
